Kindergarten Days!

The Milton Early Childhood Alliance (MECA) is offering activities for Milton’s newest Kindergarten students to celebrate their entering Kindergarten this Fall. During this week, sponsors will offer free gifts or discounts when they visit wearing their bright yellow “I’m Going to Kindergarten” T-shirt. Participating businesses will display a special sign in their window. The student must be present wearing their T-shirt in order to participate. As the sponsors are visited, be sure to thank them for their participation in this time-honored event.

The businesses are as follows:

Mackie’s Barber Shop, 20 Central Ave. Receive a $1.00 bill if you are a regular Mackie’s customoer

Mr. Chan’s 534 Adams Street, Free four piece chicken fingers

Ichiro Sushi, 538 Adams Street Choose from one free item from 7 specific items

Starbucks, 552 Adams Street, Free kiddie size hot chocolate or free chocolate milk

Fruit Center Marketplace, 10 Bassett Street, Free fuzzy head pen and a piece of fruit (while supplies last)

The Nutshell, 10 Bassett Street, Free goodie bag with pencil, eraser, bookmark and stickers (while supplies last)

Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue, Free temporary tattoo (while supplies last)

Historic New England’s Eustis Estate Museum, 1424 Canton Avenue, Free Family Pass to any Historic New England property

The Icecreamsmith, 2295 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, Free junior size scoop, no toppings or mix ins
