Mike’s 5K to Crush Substance Abuse

Saturday, October 19 is the date set for the third annual Mike’s 5k to Crush Substance Abuse. This run/walk is to to raise money for substance abuse prevention and treatment programs. It begins and ends at the Collicot/Cunningham Schools, Edgehill Road. The race begins at 10 a.m.

Mike’s 5k was founded in 2017 in memory of Mike Mulcahy who passed away on December 1, 2016 after a heroic battle against addiction. In 2018, the race was dedicated in memory of Michael Jesson of Milton, who passed in 2017 after a struggle with the disease of addiction. This year, it will be dedicated to the memory of Annie Steiner. More details will be forthcoming as plans develop.
