Stone Soup and Speakers Series at the Wakefield Estate

The 2020 Stone Soup and Speaker Series, hosted by the Mary B. Wakefield Estate is being announced. The theme is “Voices from our past: Vision for our future.”
This year’s Stone Soup and Speakers Series will focus on several key thought leaders on the subject of the environment and climate concerns.This year’s series begins on Thursday, Jan. 30 with Caroline Polgar, a graduate student in the Primack Lab at Boston University, who will discuss the comparison of contemporary observations in climate change with historical observations made by leading transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau. Polgar will also discuss her work teaching climate change to school children.
The program starts at 6:00 p.m when guests can enjoy a bowl of homemade soup and bread before the discussion. The suggested donation is $10 per person.. Space is limited, please rsvp by calling 617-333-0924.
